Climate of the Earth: north / south cups of continent.

On this page I chose the weather forecast in some cities of the world.
It is about north-south cut across some continents.
It allows to follow the variations of weather forecast from tropical regions to Arctic regions.

North America.

North-south cut across the lowland of USA-CANADA in 90°/95° of west longitude.

The lowland of the North America sees that temperatures varied in winter from -30°C in the north until +20°C in golf of the Mexico. Strangely, the regions of the south resist particularly good to the cold of the north in winter, and we must go up far enough to meet temperatures regularly inferior in - 10°C.
The summer is hot of everywhere, even close to the Arctic where +20°C is easily outdated since they are in more.

North-South cut across the rocky of America.

Strangely the rocky do not have temperature very cold in winter, and -30°C gift in lowlands more in the East do not manage to be here.
Summers are in general warm, temperatures of 35°C or more are broadly present, sometimes high in degree of latitude.

South America.

South-North cut of the Argentinian in Brazil.

I start from Ushuaia, then I go back up across the Argentina northward at first. The presence of Andes give a particular climate in this region.
There is not extreme warmth in the zone tempered, but however of +40°C appear at around 20... 30° of south latitude in lowlands.
Winters are soft everywhere, except perhaps in some insulated corners.

Africa.

North-South cut.

I start everything from Elisabeth Harbour in the south of the Africa, then I go back up until Mersa Matruh located in Egypt, on the méditerrannée sea northward.
A good party of the south of the Africa are located on plateau at 1000m of altitude. This altitude attenuates temperatures a bit in winter as in summer, and allow the appearance of snow in Southern Africa in July.

South-North cut across China.

China knows an amazing climate. Located close to the reservations of Siberian frozen air in winter, the Manchuria succeeds in having temperatures positive in January, seeing even very nice on south coast. In fact the big blows of cold (-20°C and less) if restrict north of China in the party located close to the Pacific. The summer should be hot everywhere, except perhaps close to the sea of Okhotsk.

South-North cut from Gobi in the Arctic.

Lanzhou is in the southeast of the desert of Gobi. Then I go northward across Gobi, then across the oriental mountains of Siberia.
Tiksi is on the Arctic sea, but Kjusjur is 150km more in the south inside lands. It gives in Kjusjur of the interesting temperatures in summer, or 20°C under shelters is often outdated.
Ulan Bator, located north of Gobi, knows as well - 30°C in winter as +30°C in summer.
More in the north Olekminsk is in a regions of the world which knows the most splits of temperatures. This goes from - 50°C in winter under shelters to +30°C in summer.
