Open We take off from Lyon on Saturday, June 18th, 2004 to land at Stockholm. The view of clouds since the plane is interesting...	Open We arrive at our hotel in  Stockholm in afternoon. We leave go for a walk on foot in city, and we discover a city where sea and rivers are present everywhere..	Open We pass then in front of a store of doll. It is big and make easily 60cm high.
Open Then I continue taking photographs of the city. Some quarter is very pretty.	Open I arrive in a rich quarter. Buildings is very pretty, maintained well.	Open Same quarter.
Open Same quarter	Open I continue walk until I fall on an odd place. One of the streets is constructed at the level of 3rd floors.	Open On Sunday, June 19th we take the bus to visit other quarters of the city. The river is wide at some place, with harbours from time to time. The city in back is very nice.
Open A place in Stockholm. The variations of colour and architecture give a nice effect.	Open A commercial street...	Open In the Museum Wasa of Stockholm, we find a royal vessel of the 17th century, which sank in 1628, and was raised in 1961.

Open Swedish knows that means live on a desert island...	Open The sunset was very pretty this day.	Open I take adavnatge to make some photographs! It will be the last of this Sunday!
Open We arrive at Helsinki Monday morning, June 20th. A bus waits for us and takes us to the town centre, near the cathedral of Helsinki..	Open We discover the city on foot, by beginning with the place which is close to the cathedral of Helsinki.	Open A photograph take since  the staircase of the cathedral. The place is better emphasized, and the sun arrives fair at good instant.
Open A photograph of the seaside since the harbour of Helsinki.	Open A park close to Helsinki.	Open Cathedral Uspenski. It is very nice with these red stones and its copper roof, built in 1868, and with which corms are entirely covered with gold.

Open Then we arrive at  Santapark , constructed in 1985 towards Rovaniemi (66.5°N) and located on the polar circle and close to an important city Rovaniemi.	Open We continue full north on the road E75. From time to time we meet animals... We shall sleep on Sunday evening in a hotel located in the countryside.	Open On Monday, June 21st in morning, we take the bus, north direction. Then we stop at a  Sami famil close to Sodankyla (67.4°N) probably...

Open We continue still full north. We discover the region of  Saariselka  (68.4°N) where we do cross-country skiing in winter.	Open Then we go on the road northward. Progressively there is less tree, then we see small mountains.	Open A Finnish river.
Open Some Norwegian recipe...	Open We always continue full north, and we arrive at the fiord of Porsangen (70°N) located in Norway. We discover driers with fish in seaside.	Open Then we arrive in the evening of June 21st at our hotel, which is located in a small calm village and far from the tourists. I think that we are at Olderfjord (70.5°N).
Open We become established in the hotel, we eat, then we take back the bus for the  the northern Cape (71°N). We arrive overthere at about 23 h 30, with covered weather.	Open But the sky is clear enough for photographs. We complain not too much, because there was a snowstorm here a week before.	Open On the way back I take advantage to make a photographs of the sun of midnight, or more precisely the sun of 1 h 30 in the morning, close to the hotel where the sky is absolutely clear.
Open Waking on Tuesday, June 22nd with a pretty light.	Open Then departure in bus for Tromso. We see along the road a pretty landscape, formed by mountains, fiords, different colours of water.	Open The fiords of the north are not much marked. Mountains are low and the fiords wide.
Open Another photograph between the north cape and Tromso.	Open The bus makes a stopping in  Gildetun (70°N), located on Kvaenangen fiord, about 100km east of Tromso in right line. Mountains in 1300m make their appearance, the greenery also, and all this gives pretty one aspect to fiord.	Open We continue the road towards Tromso. He still remains 250km to do since Gildetun!
Open We cross pretty landscape along the road. We have the chance to have fine weather. The sea is very blue, the feet of mountains green, snow above 400m, all of that gives very nice landscape.	Open 250km, this makes a lot, therefore we are going to shorten the road by using boats. Here we cross  the Lyngen fjord .	Open Landscapes at 40km east of Tromso. We are probably on level of Syensby.
Open Then crossed by Ullsfjord with boat.	Open Still some km, and we are in  Tromso (69.7°N). They pay a small call of the city, then they become established in the hotel.	Open On Wednesday, June 23rd, we leave towards islands Vesteralen. This photograph must be taken on Balsfjorden, located just in the south of Tromso.
Open The road goes crossing many km inside lands. Then we arrive in afternoon at Islands Vesteralen.	Open We shall sleep in the evening in Svolvaer, a small village of  the islands Vesteralen (68.3°N).	Open On Thursday, June 24th, we leave again. Here is a photograph of the harbour by very clear time.
Open We join the road by boat to economize some km. Use it me to photograph the huge Vestfjorden, as well as these coasts.	Open The boat docks in Skutvik. We take down E6 then towards Bodo.	Open An animal husbandry of huitres or salmon.
Open An other fiord...	Open Then we arrive in the middle of the day in a nice village, probably located in 50km online right north of Bodo.	Open Driers with fish is very re-hung thanks to the peach.
Open The region of Bodo is very pretty, the time also, therefore use it me to make photographs.	Open Fields in flower close to last snow of spring.	Open
Open We arrive on Saltfjord, on who Bodo is.	Open Still 50km for arrival in  Bodo (67.3°N). It will be our last evening above the polar circle!	Open Bodo
Open Sun of midnight (more precisely 23 h) in Bodo.	Open On Friday, June 25th, we leave again towards Trondheim. The road leaves inside lands, and we shall leave fiords for day. We cross trays located in altitude and therefore less warm.	Open By arriving on tourist polar circle, a small centre,  the polarsirkelsenteret .
Open This centre is located in altitude, what makes that snow is present for a long time at springs. The valley becomes stonier.	Open A flower which I have photograph I do not know where.	Open Then we take again the descent towards Trondheim. This Friday is a very charged day in km. Perhaps this photograph is taken on Ranafjorden. We shall cross the Friday evening in a village to the south of Trondheim.
Open On Saturday morning, June 26th, we leave visit  Trondheim . Visit will be a bit quick, barely 2 h, what makes make quickly. There is Kanal with home on stilt, it is original.	Open Trondheim (63.5°N)	Open Trondheim
Open Trondheim	Open Then we leave again, direction south to Bergen.	Open They pass again inside the country, and they cross trays of altitude.
Open On Saturday evening they will stop in a hotel located in the middle of mountains, in national park Dovrefjell.	Open On Sunday, June 27th, we take back the road towards Bergen.	Open Under way, we discover a " wooden church srtanding " in Lom.
Open Then the road climbs mountains.	Open We go up in altitude, réapparait snow.	Open We go up of one regions raised in altitude. The massif of Jostedalsbreen is with this 2083m not far.
Open The road crosses wild, turning green landscapes, and very nice. This gives desire to go there to ballader.	Open And we arrive at the collar in national Jotunheimen park.	Open Altitude am well brought up, about 1000m.
Open Then we go back down, and we all arrive on Sognefjorden straight.	Open Crossing of Sognefjord (in my view the nicest fiords of Norway)...	Open Cliffs are very high in certain places.
Open The boat course a big distance in Sognefjorden.	Open This allows to shorten km well. Throughout navigation decorates it am really pretty, and this fiord is dug everywhere profoundly in the rock.	Open Then we arrive at the end of one of the arms of Sognefjorden.
Open Still 100km about, and we arrive at Bergen.	Open It is a very pretty city, very coloured.	Open A street typical of Bergen.
Open On Monday, June 28th, they turn ballader in the morning. I go through the market, there I pass in front of a trader of flower.	Open Another street of the centre.	Open Then we take back the bus, direction Olso where we cross plateau at 1100m of altitude. Wey find at this altitude the tundra of the north cape!
Open The plateau is cold and humid. We spent the monday evening in a hotel east of these plateau, on the road between Bergen and Oslo.	Open On Tuesday, June 29th, having left the plateau, the weather becomes better, trees and greenery also, and this gives landscapes interesting for photographs.	Open A river some part on the West from Oslo.
Open We are is in Oslo. We enchaine directly by the visit of some museums.	Open City of Oslo. We begin by visited "Norsk Folkmuseum", also with its wooden church standing.	Open Norsk Folkmuseum.
